MindFit
Mental health issues among European youth are critical. Youth workers and coaches, often the first to notice behavioural shifts, can provide initial support but often lack proper training. MindFit aims to address youth mental health by combining sports education with skills development.
Objectives:
- Strengthen Youth Workers' Capacity to integrate transversal skills, mental health support and inclusive sports practices into their trainings
- Empower Young People through Sports, especially those at risk, structured sports and well-being activities that foster transversal skills
- Raise Community Awareness on social inclusion and reduce mental health stigma through community engagement
Activities:
- Conduct research and develop training materials
- Create an e-learning platform with OERs
- Organise capacity-building workshops for youth workers
- Launch the MindFit Clubs for peer support
